Carlos Ruiz is a multifaceted artist who excels in every area of the arts. One of his works was featured on the Philippine postage stamp after winning the Grand Prize in a national painting competition. He also won awards and recognition in costume design and character makeup. Raised by a single parent in a humble province in the Philippines, Carlos managed to master his craft and was able to help his mother by earning money on the side while finishing his studies.
